This house was the gardener's cottage to the Homestead. At the back is the jitty to Guzzler's Nook. Mr and Mrs Lewty lived in the large house at the back, and Mr Lewty's father before; he was an estate agent.

This gardener's cottage was the residence of a man called Jack Penn. I remember my uncle taking me to see him when I was in a pushchair.
