If I’m not mistaken that looks like the stretch of road between Lime Grove and the Co-Op farm house at the Creamery island the trolly bus terminus. So that will be the end of that section of Nottingham Road, Derby Road started again from the island . I was born on that Derby Road section 104 That was Warren Terrace but was just known as Derby Road Spondon.
