Co-op Dairy
Dated: 1894
The Derby Co-operative Society bought a creamery and land on Nottingham Road Spondon in 1894 , and planted fruit trees on some of the land. In the summer the dairy produced between 900 and 1,000 lbs of butter using milk from local farmers.
