Photo taken from the junction with Chapel Lane. On the left is the Wesleyan Chapel. The next house was the caretaker's (early 1900s). Further left is Dunstall House and Beech House, the homes of Mr J Brighouse and Mr Frank Barton. On the right, the Post Office, the Co-op Grocery, and next door the Co-op butcher's.
